1. Spectrum analysisThe top section contains function buttons; the middle section displays the spectrum plot; the bottom section displays the waterfall plot.
Start Frequency: The starting frequency for the spectrum scan.
Stop Frequency: The ending frequency for the spectrum scan.
After entering the start and stop frequencies, tap "Confirm Parameters" to begin scanning the specified frequency range.
Tip: Use a two-finger gesture to zoom in on the spectrum display area for a more detailed view; the device will automatically adjust the start and stop frequencies accordingly.
Peak Field Strength: The field strength of the highest signal peak within the spectrum plot area.
Peak Frequency: The frequency corresponding to the highest signal peak within the spectrum plot area.
Input Attenuation: When the input signal is strong, attenuation can be adjusted to reduce the signal's amplitude.
Reference Information: The designated use of the current peak signal according to radio spectrum allocation plans.
Background Recording: Records the radio spectrum of the current frequency band for evidence gathering or future comparison.
Peak Hold: Retains the maximum value for each frequency point in the spectrum plot, facilitating the analysis of brief, transient electromagnetic pulses.
Background Comparison: Allows the recorded spectrum plot to serve as a background reference for comparison with the live radio spectrum. For example, comparing a background recorded yesterday at a specific location with today's real-time spectrum helps determine if new radio transmitting equipment has been introduced to the environment.
Background Peak/Average: Generates peak and average values for the background spectrum to facilitate comparison.
Frequency Band Preview: Displays signals categorized by common radio frequency bands, making it easier to identify which band a signal belongs to.
2. Radio signal monitoring and analysisWhen a suspicious electromagnetic signal spectrum is detected on the spectrum analyzer interface, you can activate the monitoring function.
Once activated, the device's internal Software Defined Radio (SDR) module initiates.
Enter the frequency of the suspicious signal into the center frequency input field, click "SET," and select the monitoring mode (AM or FM). Then, start monitoring to output the demodulated audio through the speaker; this function is primarily used to decode signals from miniature FM bugs.
The device supports monitoring and demodulation within the 50 MHz to 1800 MHz frequency range.
3. Bluetooth signal and Bluetooth tag/tracker analysisThis function is primarily used to analyze Bluetooth signals in the environment. If a signal originates from a TAG locator, the device automatically highlights the entry in red and displays the brand; users can tap for details to view the specific signal strength.
Users can hold the device to pinpoint the exact location of the signal source within a vehicle or the surrounding area. The target type is determined by the number of data packets captured per second; typically, a target that transmits one packet every 1-2 seconds is identified as a TAG locator.
4. Wi-Fi signal analysis WiFi detectorWi-Fi signal analysis is primarily used to analyze and troubleshoot Wi-Fi signals in the environment; it can also be used to detect Wi-Fi-enabled cameras. The device features a built-in database of common Wi-Fi camera MAC addresses; if a device is identified as a Wi-Fi camera, it is highlighted in red.
Users can click the AP topology map to view devices connected to specific routers and troubleshoot individual devices.
Detection Sensitivity Adjustment: Users can adjust detection sensitivity to modify the detection range and filter out devices with weak signals, preventing an excessive number of detected targets from cluttering the analysis.
Re-sorting: Clicking "Re-sort" allows the device to reorder the detected targets based on signal strength.
Report Generation: Users can generate a report to save all currently detected results as a PDF document on the device, facilitating subsequent analysis or evidence gathering.
