The SZ Vodasafe VS-331 Multifunctional Detector is developed to tackle the rising security risks from hidden surveillance devices like pinhole cameras, audio bugs, and GPS trackers. As these gadgets become increasingly miniaturized and camouflaged, they pose threats to personal privacy, business secrets, and information security. The detector integrates three core technologies to non-contact detect such devices by analyzing electromagnetic waves (RF), optical lenses, and infrared signals.

Electromagnetic (RF) Detection

Target devices emit RF signals for communication (via cellular/WiFi). The detector’s built-in antenna senses these signals, with intensity shown by front-panel LED lights and audible alerts from the buzzer.

1. Power on (default to RF mode by rotating the top knob clockwise).
2. Adjust sensitivity: Clockwise rotation increases sensitivity (1st LED lights up at max).
3. Use medium sensitivity for trackers/bugs; higher sensitivity for WiFi cameras.

Optical Lens Detection

All cameras require optical lenses for imaging. The detector emits a special-wavelength beam. When the beam hits a lens (typically convex), it reflects back to the eyepiece, creating a 1.6Hz flashing light spot visible through 5x optical magnification.

1. Power on and press the SCAN button to activate the beam generator.
2. Look through the eyepiece and scan areas—flashing spots indicate hidden lenses.

Infrared (IR) Detection

Miniature cameras use IR fill lights for low-light shooting. The detector senses intense IR signals and triggers audio-visual alarms, with a laser indicator pinpointing the source.

1. Long-press the Speaker On/Off button for 2 seconds to switch to IR mode.
2. Scan the environment; the laser will point to IR-emitting devices (e.g., camera IR lights).

Operation Guide

Power On/Off:
